Resumo

Aortic valve replacement has commonly been done using surgery. The recent technique called Transcatheter AorticValve implantation has made this procedure less invasive. There are several mathematical problems related to this technology, such as the correct anchoring of the device to the aortic tissue. The numerical simulation of this issue includes a contact problemwhich we study in this work considering a geometric simplification and realistic materials.
