Abstract

Active tourism is an aspect of nature tourism on the rise in this century, a name that varies from. To practice it is essential to the presence of adequate natural resources for the various activities offered, from rivers or paths to coast or cliffs, numerous resources in Galicia. Therefore, this article starts with the definition of active tourism and the activities that are part of it, to then conduct an analysis of the supply of this type of tourism in Galicia. As a technique of study, it is used a content analysis of websites of companies that offer this type of activity in Galicia, concluding that there are still few that offer a broad portfolio of products and operating throughout the territory , while most of them concentrated on the coast of Pontevedra and A Coruña.
