Abstract

Introduction: Through this project we intend to make visible the connection between both physical and psychological nature of people. That is why we decided to investigate about the connection among emotional education and body expression in preschool education in which we find important to encourage people’s physical, social and affective abilities and building each one’s personality through emotional education as well. Methodology: A sixteen question test about emotional education and body expression meant to be answered by sixty-one teachers among twenty-five schools although only fifty-four teachers among twenty-seven schools answered the test. Results: As we analyzed the test answers we counted an amount of forty-one women and thirteen men aged 43.03 ± 9.5 years old. In terms of body expression and emotional education 100% of the teachers admit not having enough training. In the other hand, 48.15% assured finding connection between body expression and emotional education. 70.37% consider that it could be possible to reach emotional intelligence benefits through body expression Closure: We found that teacher´s training is deficient in terms of body expression and emotional education.
