Résumé

The present work aims to study the modification of the works contract following its historical evolution, and analyzes the legal framework since its origins in the nineteenth century until the current situation, making reference to the specifications, regulations, jurisprudence, the doctrine of the Council of State, Consultative Boards and Court of Audit, examining the different stages and the central aspects of their evolution over time as well as highlighting the main reasons for their changes, and indicating proposals for their regulation.
