Abstract

This article presents the results of a study conducted in 34 of the 44 wineries belonging to Rias Baixas Wine Route (Galicia-Spain) in 2012. The goals we have set for the realization of this work, consist know the profile of the wineries belonging to the route, its offer wine tourism activities , the profile of wine tourists from the point of view of the wineries, the level of satisfaction after adhesion to the route and the perceived image of the destination from the point of view of the wineries. The methodology of this paper is a descriptive analysis. The results have allowed us responding to all objectives. Regarding the level of satisfaction of the wineries with its accession to the route one of the wineries 67.65% say they are satisfied, and 32.35% expressed a neutral position (neither satisfied/ nor in satisfied). On the destination image perceived by them as an integral part, the offer is the most valued wine tourism, followed by the offer of accommodation and thirdly the cuisine.
