Análisis de la relación tamaño empresarial-exportación desde el enfoque de complementariedad

Resum
En este estudio se analiza la influencia del tamaño empresarial y la actividad exportadora sobre la productividad laboral de las empresas. Asimismo, se analiza si en el ámbito de las exportaciones son las grandes o las pequeñas empresas las que consiguen mejores rendimientos en términos de productividad. El análisis está centrado en las empresas manufactureras innovadoras españolas. Como fuente de datos hemos empleado el Panel de Innovación Tecnológica del año 2013. Después de realizar una Heckprob regression, hemos encontrado que las variables exportación y tamaño influyen positiva y significativamente sobre la productividad laboral de las empresas. Además, el test de complementariedad practicado nos ha revelado que las pequeñas empresas exportadoras han experimentado superiores mejoras de productividad que las grandes empresas exportadoras.
