Abstract
Nowadays, absorption heat pumps operates using two working pairs: H2O/LiBr y NH3/H2O. These working pairs have several drawbacks and so, their applicattion has been seriously affected. Therefore, academia as much as industry are looking with great interest alternatives based on ionic liquids and natural refrigerants. In this context, thermophysical characterization of the working pairs, refrigerant/absorbent, (water and ionic liquids) is critical for their implementation. In this PhD, experimental and theoretical approaches have been used with the aim of describing the key properties for the water absorption in the IL: liquid range, transport propeties and energetic quantities of the solvation properties.
