Abstract
The present research offers an exploratory analysis about the commitment perception in commercial relationships between Galician and Northern Portuguese business agents. It includes, as commitment antecedents: trust, satisfaction, investments, empathy, and common values. It concludes that, although do exists some positive factors for value and commitment generation in relationships, specially from the Portuguese point of view, do appear a high distance towards the generation of committed attitudes in the relation.
