The �in situ� performance of a noise barrier can be evaluated according to the ISO standard 10847 [1]. � The traffic noise can be used as noise source for this measurement and the standard does not provide relevant information of the factors contributing to the measurement uncertainty. Not only the temporal characteristiscs of the traffic flow, but also its average statial position can lead to high disperssion on the measurements results. In this paper a evaluation of the measurement uncertainty with a MonteCarlo scheme based on BEM calculation is presented.
