Resumen

This communication describes a computer system to measure quickly and accurately the foliar parameters in ampelography. This system comprises a microcomputer connected to a graphic board, and a program that enables the user to obtain coordinates of every significant point of each leaf, its data of identification, as well as a number of other measures of ampelometric parameters, such as measures of parameters of leaves, the angles of nervations, angle on cusp of the main lobe, and parameter connections. Moreover, it enables the user to check the established files of data, make statistical studies with the same program, or transfer the data to another program for statistical analysis. This system is helpful for the recognition and identification of stocks of Vitis vinifera L., together with the application of multivariable factorial analysis to leaf parameters.
