El léxico jurídico en el procedimiento administrativo

Resumo

This paper was written as a tribute to Edward García de Enterría, a member or the Royal Spanish Academy and the Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation, considered the “visible head of a brilliant school of administrative law professionals.” The paper analyzes the legal lexicon of administrative procedure as reflected in the July 17, 1958 Act and Act 30/1992, from the perspective of the treatment and definition of this lexicon in monolingual Spanish-language dictionaries, specifically the Dictionary of the Royal Spanish Academy (DRAE). Derivations and compound words taken from the set of lexical units having a specialized value are examined, and an inquiry is made into the nature and form of the most representative combinations of the event subject procedimiento (proceeding).
