Abstract
This work shows the results of the research on the structure of the tourism in the rural space (TER) in the euro region Galicia - North Portugal. After a review of the scientific literature, an evaluation of the strategies that the businessmen have followed in every case (and in certain way also the administration), to use the resources of every territory, emphasizing the similarities and the differences in both regions, has been tackled. The final proposal as conclusion is a model of complementary use of the natural and historical patrimony of the euro region.
