Abstract
The aim of this research was to analyze the sport participation and gender stereotypes and their relationship with the physical activity. The sampled consisted in 263 Galician teenagers students. A questionnaire was used to obtain the information. The main findings of the paper suggest that there are some clear gender stereotypes among the students analyzed, however it seems that this profile is changing.
