Resumo

En el denominado «proceso de Bolonia» la formación del profesorado tiende a ser considerado un «objetivo transversal» que cada país «implementará» de acuerdo con sus peculiaridades. Esta implementación, entre otros aspectos, afectará a la tutoría en el Practicum de los nuevos Planes de Estudio de Grado y Posgrado de los títulos de formación del profesorado. Para que el proceso se pueda realizar de la mejor forma posible, en este trabajo explicitamos los hallazgos de la investigación empírica sobre la temática. Para realizar la revisión de la literatura empírica, nacional e internacional, elegimos un diseño de corte cualitativo utilizando una metodología «sistemática» y «narrativa». La fuente de datos estuvo constituida por 137 artículos de investigación seleccionados a través de las bases de datos Educational Resources Information Centre (ERIC), British Education Index (BEI), Internet Society (ISOC), así como las Actas de los 10 Symposiums Internacionales sobre el Practicum celebrados en Poio (Pontevedra). Una vez seleccionados los artículos, se procedió a su codificación «factual» y «descriptiva». Los resultados descriptivos obtenidos ponen de manifiesto, primero, los beneficios que la tutoría aporta para tutores: desarrollo profesional y personal, aprendizaje (reflexión) y satisfacción en el trabajo; y para los tutorandos: apoyo para su desarrollo profesional, ayuda para la realización de aprendizajes (reflexión) y la socialización. Y, segundo, las condiciones necesarias para que el desempeño de la tutoría sea «eficaz», entre ellas, la delimitación de las funciones del tutor, la selección de tutores y asignación de tutorandos, la formación del tutor y las estrategias para la tutoría. Finalizamos haciendo referencia a las limitaciones del trabajo.
