Resumo
In this article we give a brief review on the development of one of the pioneering interregional cooperation in the Iberian Peninsula, in this case the creation of the Eurocity Chaves-Verín. Shown is a step in cross-border cooperation, a new model of European citizenship that seeks sharing of resources, use and joint use. We talked about two border territories between which has always been a connection that has now been institutionalized, becoming an example of cooperation and European citizenship.
