Abstract

There is a certain consensus in indicating the desirability of doing a regular practice of physical exercise of moderate intensity and volume in low-risk pregnant women. Nevertheless, it is essential to individualise this practice if it is achieved an optimal effect. In this work it is proposed the convenience of using a personal trainer for the practice of physical exercise on a reliable and secure form, with recommendations for the practice of physical exercise depending on the physical activity doing prior to pregnancy, the parameters that must be taken into account in the prescription of physical exercise for low-risk pregnant women, and a model of exercise program for pregnant women previously active.
