Abstract
The present work tries be an analysis of an institution designed by the Franco regime for the control of inmates released from prison on probation, the Servicio de Libertad Vigilada. We analyze its constitution, organization and operation through the legislation that gives it form and approach the theoretical justifications that just made their first charge. Finally we conclude by presenting what was his real role and the significance that the situation of probation had for ex-prisoners
