Resumen
The role of translation revisers was consolidated after the publication of the European Translation Norm EN-15038, which has involved its implementation to translation teaching. This paper aims at analysing the constructivist approach to revision teaching following current methodological changes. The revision competences that students must acquire to success in their professional life will be stated. Notions like quality criteria and norms, revision parameters, types of revision, translation mistakes and professional environment will be discussed on the bases of their didactic implementation, not ignoring the key role of new technologies and translation resources.
