Resumo

Este trabajo describe y analiza el uso de Fotovoz, un método que emplea la fotografía y el diálogo para promover el cambio y la mejora social en una escuela de Educación Infantil y Primaria de una determinada comunidad local. Se invitó a todos los estudiantes a realizar fotografías con narrativas colaborativas en las que daban su opinión sobre las posibilidades que poseen de participación en la escuela y cómo mejorarla. A fin de converger en un proyecto local inclusivo, se organizó una exposición interactiva dirigida a la comunidad del entorno más próximo. Esta exposición constituyó una plataforma sobre la que se revisaron y mejoraron las oportunidades de la escuela para promover cambios en cuanto a la participación de los estudiantes. El análisis de datos sugiere que el método utilizado constituye una herramienta capaz de mejorar la participación de los niños/as en la escuela, facilitar la puesta en marcha de redes de trabajo inter-centros y crear cambios en la comunidad.
