Abstract

This paper presents the first results from the project "galescolas.net" developed by the University of Vigo for the Secretaria Xeral da Igualdade of the Vicepresidencia da Igualdade e do Benestar of Xunta de Galicia, the government of the autonomous community of Galicia, Spain. The main goal is to begin the introduction of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in early childhood education from 0 to 3 years old. The main functionalities are introduced altogether with the first reactions from users: educators, parents and administrator. Also, the working methodology and the collaboration procedure among the different teams involved are also presented.
