Efecto de un calendario sobrecargado de partidos sobre el rendimiento físico en el fútbol de élite

Resumo

O objetivo deste trabalho consiste analisar o impacto de uma elevada carga de minutos de jogo ao longo de uma época sobre o rendimento físico no futebol de elite. Foram analisadas, em 68 jogadores que disputaram o Campeonato Mundial do Brasil 2014 da FIFA, a distância percorrida a diferentes velocidades e a percentagem de tempo realizando atividades de alta intensidade. Uma análise de cluster classificou os jogadores em três grupos dependendo do número de minutos disputados ao longo da época: alta, média ou baixa carga de competição. O resultado, o nível da equipa adversária e a posição específica dos jogadores incorporaram a análise como variáveis de controlo. Os dados foram analisados mediante uma análise de regressão linear. No geral, os resultados demonstram que jogar uma elevada carga de minutos de jogo durante a época não afeta negativamente o rendimento físico dos jogadores. Os médios centro percorreram uma distância total e a alta intensidade maior que o resto dos jogadores das outras posições específicas (p<0,01), enquanto que os defensas centrais percorrerom uma distância significativamente menor comparativamente ao resto das posições (p<0,01). Ter o resultado a favor ou contra e a capacidade ou debilidade do adversário não modificou significativamente o rendimento físico dos jogadores. Estes resultados poderão ser utilizados por treinadores e observadores/analistas para melhorar a planificação de treinos e a avaliação do rendimento das equipas e dos jogadores
