Fungus gnats (Diptera: Bolitophilidae, Keroplatidae, Mycetophilidae) from Galicia, including 28 species new to Spain and 23 new to the Iberian Peninsula

Abstract
A sample of 224 specimens of fungus gnats of NW Spain was examined. This is a region not much studied for this group. Altogether 100 species including 96 species of Mycetophilidae, 1 species of Bolitophilidae and 3 species of Keroplatidae species were found. These included two species of Keroplatidae and 26 species of Mycetophilidae species new for Spain. Of these 23 species of Mycetophilidae were also new for the Iberian Peninsula.
