Résumé
The aim of this work is the comparison of the mineralogical and petrographical characteristics with the phisical properties (as alterability, elasticity and working facility) of the slates from the Agüeira Formation. The mineralogy ofthe samples is similar, however, diferences in texture, structure and grain size have been observed. Therefore it seems likey that the latter are responsible for the differences in the physical propenies found in the samples studied.
