Abstract

The aim of this article is to identify the basic principles for networks to promote local economic development. The constructivism and research tools - documentary, applied and qualitative - facilitated obtaining evidence on networks in different regions of Europe and Latin America. These results are analysed in order to move beyond the description of networks, identifying and explaining the principles that promote local economic development based on them.
