Abstract

The description of the inequality can be measured by the distributive ratio of two related attributes. When the ratio of two variables is 80- 20 is known as the Pareto principle. This article applies to the social conversation on Twitter to ensure that 20% of users generate 80% of the conversation about a topic in Twitter. In order to find it out, it has been performed a content analysis on the social conversation around the main hashtags during the municipal elections in 2015, in a regional context in Galicia. A study that proves the unequal participation in Twitter.
