Diversidad de coleópteros (Insecta, Coleoptera) en As Lagoas-Marcosende (Pontevedra, NO España)

Resumo
A faunistic study of the beetles (Order Coleoptera) from As Lagoas-Marcosende (Pontevedra NO España), a place characterized by its habitat richness, is presented. 85 species were described so far in the studied place, 3 of which represent new records to the province of Pontevedra’s fauna, and other 4 to the Galician one, Helophorus (Empleurus) schmidti Villa & Villa, 1838, Hister thoracicus Paykull, 1811, Onthophagus (Paleonthophagus) joannae Goljan, 1953 and Pimelia integra Rosenhauer, 1856, whose distribution was believed to be restricted to the Center and South of the Iberian Peninsula. Data concerning the geographic distribution of the different species are also included in this work.
