Un caso de neoplasia gonadal en mejillones de la Ría de Vigo, Mytilus galloprovincialis

Resumo

Individuos de Mytilus galloprovinciales recogidos en la Ría de Vigo a lo largo de su ciclo reproductivo presentan un posible neoplasma gonadal , caracterizado histológicamente por una morfología anormal de las células germinales que se distribuyen por todo el folículo e invaden el tejido conjuntivo, gonoductos y senos hemolinfáticos. Este desorden gonadal es característico de machos los cuales presentaban las gonadas afectadas unicamente durante los meses de abril a junio. El resto del año los individuos presentaban el tejido gonadal normal.
