Zusammenfassung

In the last years there has been a growing interest in the promotion and enhancement of the educational processes that take place in early childhood education. A careful planning and personalization of the learning opportunities is a key factor to improve the quality of the education. This paper describes the main features of a ICT-based system that supports the observation, monitoring, evaluation and planning in early care settings. Use of semantic technologies is proposed in order to improve the relevance of the recommendations made by the system.
