Abstract

The motivation of students, their empowerment and path to educational success has been one of the axes that education has been moving in recent decades. Specifically, educational coaching is a phenomenon that appeared just over five years to settle in and be a tool that guides the teacher with his students along that path. Therefore, a conceptual dimension is necessary that this idea means as well as the conceptual axes that it brings associated. To this end, the objective has been planted: to explore, analyze and expose the scientific research that has developed around educational coaching. The methodology proposed in this text has been a systematic review of bibliography, a secondary research through the main databases in education that has led authors to a discernment of the main paradigms on which educational coaching is based. A discipline born in and for the current casuistic, and on the other hand, because it delves into the root of the human being, facilitating the achievement of objectives and improvement of performance. Likewise, it becomes relevant given the increase in motivation manifested by students and improvement, among others, different factors that are causing problems in education, such as the lack of involvement of students
