Abstract
This article aims to analyze the discursive practices and political action ofvarious types of fascism today. Starting from the crisis of democratic institutions andthe advancement of policies of the so-called radical right, we try to understand thecharacteristics of this "new" fascism and how it develops, using the classical andcontemporary theoretical field and comparative methodology. Besides a brief history ofthe concept of fascism in Brazil, we have embarked on the elaboration of a commonminimum among these new fascisms, comparing them with that of the 1920s and 1930s.Thus, problematizing categories such as conspiracy, negation of otherness, permanentwar and the spread of hatred are fundamental to understanding this "new" political andhistorical phenomenon.
