Abstract

Twenty-five years after the publication of the Galician Social Work Journal, Fervenzas, we believe it is appropriate to carry out a review that takes a look at the progress made so far. This work consists of a historical review of the content of the Journal, in which a bibliometric analysis is carried out. Its aims are to make the progress of the journey visible and to analyze the trajectory of its publication since its creation, in 1997, to the present. Among the main conclusions, It is worth pointing out the existing diversity within the disciplines of the authors as well as in the reference areas in which the topics tackled are framed.
