Zusammenfassung

The increasing use of technology and mobile devices for educational purposes is a fact. It certainly increases learning possibilities (planned or spontaneous learning, individual or collective learning). It has the potential to revolutionize and transform the way individuals learn (Diehl 2013). Bearing in mind the importance of human communication as the centre of the teaching-learning process (Warren and Wakefield 2013), the project presented here proposes the use of technology in teacher training as a tool for knowledge management, and as a catalyst for change towards a more innovative way of teaching that is connected to the world around students and teachers. The planning proposed seeks to stimulate debate among teachers-to-be about the need to innovate in the teaching-learning process, how to innovate and the role that technology may play in this.
