Resumo
This work analyzes the legal regime of environmental claims in advertising. For these purposes, we study the concept of environmental claim and we also identify the different cases of misleading environmental claims: those typified in Directive 2024/825 as well as others identified by jurisprudence and self-regulatory bodies. The work concludes with a brief analysis of the Proposed Directive on explicit environmental claims, currently in process.
