Doctor by the Universidade de Vigo with the thesis Desarollo de capas de conversión nanoestructuradas sobre sustratos férricos para su empleo como electrodos en baterías ión-li 2016. Supervised by Dr. Xosé Ramón Nóvoa Rodríguez.
Ph.D. in Mining Engineering from the University of Vigo, with a specialization in Materials Engineering. Her professional career has focused on research and development of new materials for energy storage, as a member of the E-materiais research group and in close collaboration with the Encomat group at the same university. She has international experience through research stays at the LISE laboratory of the CNRS, at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris (France), and at EDF Lab les Renardières (France). Her academic work includes the publication of articles in high-impact scientific journals, patent registrations, and participation in over 30 national and international conferences. Additionally, she has contributed to various research and technology transfer projects in collaboration with companies, covering areas such as corrosion assessment and applied electrochemistry. She is currently engaged in teaching at the Department of Materials Engineering, Applied Mechanics, and Construction at the University of Vigo, delivering courses in more than nine degree programs at the Schools of Mining and Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Aeronautical and Space Engineering. She is also an active member of the Board of Directors of the Galician Association of Corrosion and Protection (AGACYP) and SOCIEMAT, a scientific society dedicated to the advancement of materials science.
