Resumo

In the current context of climate change is of interest to know the impact this may have on the agricultural sector in a given region. To know the trends in variables such as temperature and rainfall is essential to design appropriate policies for adaptation and mitigation of the different agricultural sectors in each of the regions. In our paper we analyze the impact that variations in temperature and precipitation may have on the particular wine production region within the Rías Baixas designation of origin. In a first study we will characterize the relationship between weather variables with the quantity and quality of the wine of that denomination of origin for the actual climate. After this characterization we will analyze the expected climatic changes for the period 2061-2091 and the resulting impacts on viticulture area using four models of the ENSEMBLES project.
