Resumen
Los avances tecnológicos en todos sus ámbitos unidos, a la progresiva desaparición de las fronteras, traza un nuevo panorama geopolítico y socioeconómico que comúnmente, se asocia al concepto de globalización ampliamente tratado desde los más diversos ámbitos: desde la sociología, la antropología y la política, hasta esferas como las de la comunicación. En este contexto surgió la necesidad de que las marcas y los productos se comuniquen con públicos de otras culturas e idiomas, sirviéndose de la publicidad como nexo de unión. Esto generó un debate sobre la manera de implementar la publicidad internacional, que es objeto del presente trabajo.
