Resumo

Managers' training in Spain, as a specific subfunction in the staff management, has ranged, in the last decades, from managers' training (competences and skills) to, more recently, professional managers' training (personal development and leadership). After all these years of training experiences, it could be considered that we have the structures (Training Schools), which are mature and with consolidated and sustainable executive training programmes. An approach to the overview of the different actors and their training products shows us the fact that there is still a long way in our work especially in relation to the coordination and complementarity of formative programmes. In the following lines, we will show a particular view on managers' training in Spain, taking as a model the Manager Certificate by the Galician Autonomous Government. We will also try to answer the question: how to run a managers' training course?
