Estudo exploratorio sobre expectativas, gobernanza e rendemento nas redes de investigación de Galicia

Resumo

Las redes regionales de investigación tienen un papel destacado en la creación de conocimiento científico y en la innovación, actividades clave en la realidad económica moderna. Este artículo analiza las expectativas de los grupos de investigación y explora la incidencia de la gobernanza en el rendimiento de las redes de investigación mediante un análisis que incluye datos de once redes públicas de investigación, integradas por 83 grupos de investigación en Galicia. La investigación muestra que las redes satisfacen las expectativas de los grupos que en ellas participan, especialmente en términos de resultados, y que existe una serie de factores de gobernanza asociados positiva-mente al rendimiento. Entre las implicaciones derivadas de estos hallazgos destacan la necesidad de impulsar lazos fuertes entre los grupos de investigación en la red, la articulación de acuerdos de equidad y el establecimiento de mecanismos de evaluación en la red. Aunque también se identifican otros factores que influyen de forma negativa en el rendimiento de la red, fundamentalmente la ex-cesiva centralidad y la intermediación de unos grupos de investigación sobre otros.
