Resumo

This paper presents an initial teacher education experience on the relationship between gender and sustainability. The identification of previous ideas in a techno-scientific subject noted the need for a gender approach in dealing with environmental problems in the classroom; then a work proposal was developed with a methodology based on projects. The results indicate that the experience involved the students who plan, research, reflect, interact, make and learn science considering the relationship between gender equality and sustainable development, realizing the need to design proposals for their future students.
