Abstract

Paget-Schröetter Syndrome is a rare pathology that leads to thrombosis in the upper limbs. A bibliographic search ofMedline, Pubmed, Scopus and WOS was performed using the terms Mesh "Upper Extremity Deep Vein Thrombosis" and"Exercise". The results show that Paget-Schroetter syndrome is a pathology of difficult diagnosis that requires an expertradiologist and the elimination of other pathologies. The most commonly used conservative treatment is anticoagulanttherapy and its combination with thrombolysis surgery and resection of the first rib, with or without escalenectomy.
