Abstract

In this paper we address the situation of the commercial distribution sector in the Euroregion composed of Galicia and North Portugal. Thus, initially, we analyse the economic situation of both regions and the context in which the sector carries on its activities, laying special emphasis on legislation. This enables us to know the framework in which companies can carry out their activities so as then to analyse the situation on both sides of the border, both of the wholesale and the retail sector. We conclude with the establishment of some conclusions stemming from the analyses made.
