Résumé
Stretching is a widely spread therapeutic technique. The performance of stretching as part of the warm-up to prevent muscle injuries seems to be a necessary practice and therefore is included in the training programs. The aim of this work is to know the characteristics of the stretches performed by Duathlon athletes, in terms of time of realization, time during which they are performed and type of stretching. We observed that professional athletes perform more stretches before and after sports practice, observing significant differences compared to amateur athletes. In the time dedicated to stretching, there are no significant differences between professional or amateur athletes. The most commonly used stretching techniques are proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and passive stretching.
