Abstract

In this study they are presented and discussed the results relating to the Ice Rafted Detritus (IRD) provenance of the last six Heinrich Events (HE) in the North West Iberian margin. The research is based on the Neodymium and Strontium isotopic fingerprint in the coarse detrital fraction of the sediment core CI12PC3, from the Galicia Interior Basin (NE Atlantic). This is the second work concerning to the IRD provenance in the NW Iberian Margin, after the findings made by Martins et al. (2013), and the first one to present provenance results for the last six HE in this margin.
