Resumo

There is a hair in my soup is a material with which the SFL teacher will provoke in his students the need to interact by participating in a version of the classic identification game find the intruder. But, unlike what is usual in this type of dynamics, here, the student not only has to locate a term that does not fit with others in a given list, but also has to reflect on the reasons (orthographic, lexical, semantic, morphological, pragmatic or socio-cultural) by which that element dissolves, that is to say, by which it is “a hair in the soup”. With a task-based approach, the student is the centerpiece of their learning process. The final task will be to design a fundamental part of the game material: the lists of words in which “a hair in the soup” has been cast.
