Resumo

As for knowing the ability of female mock victims of sexual violence to create afalse event, a field study was designed. A total of 32 women non victims of sexualviolence with ages from 22 to 60 years (M = 33.31, SD = 11.62) were interviewed twotimes with a weak of interval between both. Statements were content analyzed with thecriteria of the Global Evaluation System consisting of criteria from l RealityMonitoring, Statement Reality Analysis, Criteria Based Content Analysis and thecriteria of Arce and Fariña. The results showed a differential accessibility of the contentcriteria to lie. Likewise, the results also revealed a lack of persistence in the criteria inthe successive statements. Thus, persistency in the criteria may be a robust indicator of afabricated memory. The implications for forensic practice and future research arediscussed
