¿Cómo comunica el Ministerio de Salud chileno el cáncer?Análisis de las publicaciones de Facebook e Instagram de 2018 a 2023

Resumo
Introducción: Este estudio indagó sobre los mensajes comunicacionales en las redes sociales de Facebook e Instagram emitidos por el Ministerio de Salud de Chile sobre el cáncer durante el período 2018-2023. Objetivos: Explorar el contenido de los mensajes en base a los tipos de contenidos y el framing o encuadre mediático sobre el cáncer que tienen los mensajes emitidos por el Ministerio de Salud de Chile. Metodología: De un universo de 14.644 publicaciones, se analizó una muestra de 354 resultados. Resultados: En general, se detectó una escasa presencia de la enfermedad del cáncer en las redes sociales estudiadas. Discusión: En su mayoría, los tipos de contenidos de los mensajes comunicacionales corresponden a una fase inicial y preventiva de la enfermedad; en tanto, su encuadre mediático fue, mayoritariamente, positivo. Conclusiones: Este estudio comprobó la falta de presencia de un mayor desarrollo de una comunicación especializada sobre el ámbito del cáncer en Chile.
