Résumé

This paper presents a Web-based authoring tool to develop courses for the World Wide Web. This tool is included as one of the facilities of the SimulNet educational environment. SimulNet, originally conceived as a platform for virtual teaching laboratories, has enhanced their functionality to cover the whole learning process, from theoretical lectures to practical training through experimental work. In this paper we focus on the SimulNet courseware capabilities. First, we present a brief survey of current available authoring tools on the Web. Then, we present the main functionality of the SimulNet authoring environment, including the editor tool and the authoring tool for quizzes and learning paths structures.
