Isela Lavilla Beltrán, Dr/a. Carlos Bendicho Hernández.

M. Costas-Rodríguez defended her PhD in the University of Vigo (UVigo) in July 2011, being the work carried out awarded with the Extraordinary Doctorate Award. She initiated her postdoctoral research in the UVigo focused on the development of novel, automated and miniaturized analytical methods. From 2012 to 2022, she was a postdoctoral researcher in the ‘Atomic and Mass Spectrometry–A&MS’ research group in Ghent University (UGhent, Belgium) funded through three competitive calls (from the Special Research Fund (BOF)-UGhent and from the Flemish Research Foundation (FWO) – Flanders), via an ‘Excellence of Science (EoS)’ project and through a FED-Twin research programme (UGhent and Royal Institute of Cultural Heritage, KIK-IRPA, Belgium). Since 2023, she is a Ramón y Cajal postdoctoral researcher in the UVigo. Her research focuses on (spatially resolved) elemental and isotopic analysis for biomedical, geochemical and environmental studies. She was awarded with the JAAS Emerging Investigator Lectureship 2019 given by Journal of Analytical Atomic Spectrometry as emerging scientist working in the area of atomic spectrometry.
