Résumé
We want to know the extracurricular physical activity and demonstrate that this practice improves academic performance. That was a descriptive, cross-sectional, quantitative research using a questionnaire (applied to children/ as between 10 and 13 years in two primary schools) and academic notes first assessment being analyzed with SPSS/21. Results indicate that 72.3% of the students practiced extracurricular physical activities, the academic average is 6.77 notes and that BMI is around 20 kg/m2 . Significant differences (p< .05) seem to suggest that the practice of extracurricular physical activity has a positive influence on the academic performance.
